Art Cafe, Dalat simply the top family restaurant

July 29, 2011

Dalat Top Restaurant.
Place for ones who love fresh cooking, vegetable and mix wine.

In the heart of the backpacker area along Truong Cong Dinh, ART Cafe serves up local cuisine at prices just a tick above the local standard, but in an intimate, semiformal dining room with white linen tablecloths and rattan tables and chairs. The owner (the artist himself) is very friendly and a good source of local information. They serve great stir-fries and have excellent vegetarian options. I had delicious fresh spring rolls and an order of savory tofu cooked in lemon grass with a side of steamed vegetables. Portions are large and ingredients fresh.

Driven by a passion for art since childhood, Vo Trinh Bien determined to explore a new style of drawing that can’t be imitated. Two years of hard work, resourcefulness and perseverance resulted in the techniques of drawing by fingers, Bien launched few exhibitions which attracted all local and oversea visitors. Thanks to great creation, Bien’s art work proudly was placed and honored in Vietnam Fine Art Museum.

Found Art Cafe right in the heart of Dalat, Bien shared his unique works cover the inside walls of the restaurant.

Certainly, guests to his restaurant will be treated with food and art and Bien will be happy to convey his passion and explain his techniques to guests.

For any trip to Dalat, personally, I would love to stop by for his perfect mix wine, cocktail and fresh vegetable dishes and always look up his updated thoughtful fingers paintings.
